taekwondo---I am now a brown belt!

I am now officially a brown belt in TaeKwonDo. 1 more belt until I make black belt. This was the hardest test so far, trying to remember over 150 moves/forms. Black belt is even more difficult.I never assumed I would make it this far. But learned its not how fast I go, its how far I have come. Try to enjoy the journey. alright, I made it this far!

Why I Relay

My Reason to Relay
I have lost many family and friends to cancer. I know many of you have also lost loved ones to cancer.They have missed countless birthdays, birthday cakes, birthday presents, birthday candles and birthday wishes. We have missed sharing those birthdays with them. I wish we could have shared more of those birthdays with the ones we love, the ones who love you.I wish you peace and many more birthday wishes. Happy birthday Tommy, May, Ralph, Lisa, Elsie, Jimmy...Happy birthday.
I am participating in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life because I want to make a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer. I am determined to help make a difference, and hope you join me. I will be walking June 2,2012 at New Fairfield High School.

belt six....blue

I just made blue belt in TaeKwonDo!! How amazing is that (for me)!

I am working real hard still on the focus and self confidence thing.

 For me no easy task.

But must remember how far I have come along from the beginning.

The forms and kicking are getting more difficult, for me- to just remember.

Kicking and punching and form help maintain some sort of sanity for me.

I moved on....

purple belt...tae kwon do...

I made my purple belt!! This is my 5th belt- wow almost a miracle that I can even remember forms, counting, sparring, punching, kicking...all in Korean! Am still a work in progress with focus and confidence. But I have come a long way, and can most likely can kick some body's butt, but they must be shorter than me...
